The Sony Xperia U is a great all-rounder with enhanced features at every turn. Entertainment is at the fore with media playback taken to a new level with Clear Bass, Clear Stereo, xLoud Experience and TrackID music recognition. Timescape and Twitter are integrated along with Facebook and your online browsing sessions can be connected with either 3G or Wi-Fi.

The 5 megapixel camera may not be the highest resolution in the market but it would be difficult to tell when you take into account the optical features. 16x digital zoom lets you get in close and personal and you will also find an LED flash, autofocus, HD video recording at 720p, 3D Sweep Panorama and face detection.

The 3.5 inch display has an anti-reflective coating, which is scratch resistant and operation is made easy with an on-screen-QWERTY keyboard. Android is onboard so the flexibility to download new apps is there and Sony have generously pre-loaded Google Voice Search, Google Talk with video chat, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Gallery 3D and Google Maps with Street View and Latitude.
